With such a big decision you are bound to have questions and queries. Please find the following list of the most frequently asked questions:

Are the care staff police checked?

Yes all our care staff are DBS (used to be known as CRB) checked.

Are the care staff trained

All our care staff take on Mandatory training on appointment with us. And will be encouraged to take further developmental training to NVQ Level 2 in Social care thereafter.

Are your care staff employees or contract workers?

All our care staff are employed by us. We do not have contract workers.

Are your care staff insured?

All our staff are covered by our Home Care Company insurance.

Can you send me information about your services and fees?

How are care staff supervised?

All care staff are allocated a supervisor and have to undertake regular supervision sessions and group team meetings. We also conduct a spot check visit to the service users home at a time when the carer is working with you.

How long has your Company been running?

We are a fairly new Company established in 2012. We have been examined and regulated by the Quality Care Commission. Our management team has in excess of 20 years of care industry experience.

What happens if I want to change my carer?

Should you find that you have not built a rapport with your carer or simply wish to change carer please contact us. Your request will be dealt with discretely and in the strictest of confidence. A new carer will be sought to match your requirements.

What happens if my needs change?

If your needs change it is part of our service to you that we reassess your care plan and work with you to decide how best to support you. Care plans are altered quickly and efficiently.

What procedures are in place for emergencies?

We provide an emergency telephone service for handling emergencies during evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. There is always someone on the end of the phone, on-call, who will be qualified and trained to handle any scenario.

Will I be introduced to the carer before the start date?

It is always our wish that you will meet the carer before the start date. This will form part of our introduction and care plan.

Will I have the same carer all the time?

Yes, usually your care will be shared by the same care team, who are employed by us full time. Depending on how much care you require will determine how many carers will be in your care team. For instance; a service user who requires a weekly visit may only need one carer, but a service user who has multiple visits everyday will have a small number of dedicated carers.

Do you offer 24 hour care?
